8th September 2025 Hiking - Walking: Around Felixstowe Wind Direction: Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: sunny periods Max Speed: Distance Covered: Monday 8th September - walk *** – Around Felixstowe – sunny periods. A sunny start to the day with a hint of a breeze so I headed down to The Manor with my windsurfing kit to check out the conditions, Mag came with me to walk back home, her second walk of the day as she had already seen the sunrise. As for the windsurfing the wind was dead offshore and light so I headed for home to do my exercises in the sunny back garden and promptly dozed off:) Decided to continue the quiet day at home with lunch in the garden but decided to head out for a walk at 7 to see the sunset as there was some cool clouds! We made it as far as the big wheel again and as we made it back to the pier we actually saw the full moon rise above the horizon, maybe the first time I have seen that! Photo Album here |
